Since 2024, we have been on an experimental mission to address a funding gap in hyper-local public realm projects often led by residents, students, or private practices to improve the quality of life in their cities. We launched the pilot Placemaking India Project Bank to thematically collectivise projects and help implement projects on the ground through funding, mentorship, grant writing, or technical assistance. The Project Bank is also a programme of The Place Institute.
