Placemaking India’s annual gathering returns with an exciting weekend programme from February 14 to 16, 2025 in Bengaluru‘s newly-opened BLR Design Centre on eminently walkable Church Street!
In partnership with MOD Foundation, which has various public space revitalisation projects across Bengaluru to its credit, we will be exploring:
- Underground Placemaking
- Night Markets
- Night-time Governance of Safe Spaces
- Night Economy: Leisure and Culture
- The Dark Side of Urban Ecology
- Landscaping for Darkness
Women in Lighting + Design (WILD) will initiate an after-hours workshop on lighting public spaces with Maria Guell-Ordis, lighting masterplanner to the City of Barcelona (limit of 24 on a first-come, first-served basis). We are also delighted to welcome Park People from Toronto to share great ideas on fundraising for inclusive green spaces.
